Yuuussssss!!!! I’m totally alright! I’m just soooooo excited to share this recipe with you guys!

Like seriously, I have a backlog of nearly 4-5 recipes that I haven’t shared yet and this one was the most recent.

It was supposed to go online towards the end of the month

But

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!

These beauties turned out sooooo perfect {Not that the others didn’t ๐Ÿ˜› }

But you see, I was totally not sure that these were gonna work simply because popsicles are unfamiliar territory! I haven’t made many of these. So far, I’ve only had THIS in my archives, but I’m very … VERYYYY PROUD to present these beauties into my blog as well! ๐Ÿ˜€

You know, my usual breakfast comprises of eggs on toast, maybe nutella occasionally {Maybe more often}, some kind of a fruit, egg done in some other way and quite frankly, I do get bored of the same old routine! I mean…COMEEEE ON! You need something smashingggggg every once a while!

And this my friends…. IS THE PERFECTTTT SOLUTION FOR A BRAND NEW BREAKFAST!

It’s quite lietrally BREAKFAST ON A STICK!

And the best part about these pops? They are 100 % ABSOLUTELY HEALTHYYYYY {Happy Dance}

It has absolutely no sugar and fats! Just yogurt, fruit and some delicious oat crumble!

Isn’t it the coolest!???? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh and in all the excitement, I totally forgot to mention that the coming week is going to be SUPER AMAZINGGGGG!!!!

But, Samina, you have like 10 days of non-stop exams coming up in like, 10 days???? How can your week be awesome?

Gahhhh!! I know there’s this depressing phase happening soon but I’ve signed up for some amazing fun food events and I AM JUST SOOOOOO EXCITED! I think I might faint! I need the change of environment you see! ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, there’s a bread making workshop and a tea tasting event happening for which I AM BEYONDDDDD EXCITED!

But for now, I want you to get excited about these babies!!!!!!!!!!

โ™ฅYogurt and Fruit Parfait Popsiclesโ™ฅ

Makes 6 popsicles:

Ingredients:

For the Oat Crumble:

25 gms butter

25 gms wholewheat flour

25 gms oats

2 tbs brown sugar

For the Popsicles’ assembly:

800 mls yogurt {wrapped in muslin and hung overnight}

Oat crumble

Dried blueberried

Dried Cranberries

1 + 1/2 banana

Method:

Firstly, prepare your crumble. This can be done beforehand. For that simply rub together the ingredients till they resemble coarse breadcrumbs and bake in an oven that has been preheated to a 180 degree Celsius for about 25 minutes. Let it cool.

For the popsicles, take the yogurt that has been hung {this will make the yogurt more creamy} and mash in the bananas for the sweetness. Taste your yogurt. If you do feel that it needs more sweetness, add honey to it. Fill it in a piping bag. {Of course, you can use a spoon but I really feel that piping bags keep it much more cleaner and make it quicker}

Then add the crumble, yogurt, fruit, crumble yougurt {In this order, you can change the style of assembly} push in the stick and freeze till firm.

  1. Unfortunately I have no Popsicle forms yet ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I’ll definitely have to get one by next summer !!! Since I’m from Germany and it’s getting colder here it’s more a pancake- breakfast time ๐Ÿ™‚ They looks so damn good !! I’ll have to make them when it’s warmer again ๐Ÿ™‚ and I’m looking forward to hearing how your workshops went !!!!

    • Ohhh I would not venture into the popsicle territory in a colder environment! It’s still quite warm here so that’s how these happened! haha! ๐Ÿ˜€ You should!!!!! I have no idea how many shops I may have gone into before finally finding these molds! Yussssss I can’t wait to share them! ๐Ÿ™‚ Writing a post right now! haha ๐Ÿ˜‰
